Milton & King wallpapers are protected with two coats of a specially formulated glaze, making the non-woven base and paper top layer very durable and easy to clean. Whether your M & K wallpaper has been scribbled upon with lead pencil, crayon, coloured pencil, ball point pen or permanent maker it doesn’t matter. The following videos exemplify just how cleanable they are.
With just warm soapy water, a sponge and a little elbow grease you can remove a lead pencil squiggle. After you’ve removed the squiggle, dry the area with a towel.
If someone has decided to express their artistic talents on your wallpaper with a biro or ballpoint pen, it’s not the end of the world. You will need a clean rag, acetone and a clean dry towel. Simply soak a small area of the rag with acetone and apply to the effected area. Follow up by drying the area with a clean dry towel and voila!
Permanent marker ain’t so permanent anymore. All you will need to remove it is Methylated spirits, a clean rag and a clean towel. Soak a small area of your rag and apply to the effected area. Follow up again by drying with a clean dry towel.
It’s worthwhile to note that Acetone and Methylated spirits are both highly flammable solvents. So be sure to read the safety directions before you get too gung ho.
